The Stone Eye

New Track: "The Meadow" - The Stone Eye

The hard-hitting duo of The Stone Eye will release their forthcoming album, The Meadow, on September 2. Guitar gradually awakens before pounding percussion truly announces the arrival of its title track. Stewing in the dusty unabashed heaviness pulls one into a vortex of sonic refuge. You can join them this evening at Century, where they will be part of a bill that also includes Almost Honest, Maharaja, and The Mountain Chiefs.

New The Stone Eye EP Available for Streaming & Download

The tandem of Stephen Burdick and Jeremiah Bertin, a.k.a. The Stone Eye, recently released a new EP Royal & Damned. Ferocious, fuzz-fueled, heavy grunge with deep, rippling rhythms and the crystallizing command of vocals are set ablaze by guitar riffs, which call to mind Alice in Chains. The acoustic “Colours In Vain” eases off the accelerator, offering a refreshing while still powerful sense of calm. The duo will be part of Fairly Local Fest this Saturday, May 13 at William Street Common.

New Track: "Death From Above" - The Stone Eye

“Death From Above,” the latest single from the duo of Stephen Burdick and Jeremiah Bertin, a.k.a. The Stone Eye, surges from the start as fuzzed-out guitar pairs with pummeling percussion. Sitting in the 90's grunge/hard rock window, the vocals draw out of a mild valley. Then, those pulverizing guitar riffs and non-stop drums provide the push to the finish line. (Photo by Ian Ong)
