Isle Royale

New band alert! Isle Royale released their first song today. You can check out "Undertow" below.

Villa Coola

It was almost a year ago to the day the we share the debut EP from Gehring Miller (aka Villa Coola). Late last month Miller, along with Sip City Records, released his first full-length as Villa Coola. The album continues Miller's exploration of alt-folk and falsetto that is reminiscent of the dream-like acoustic moments of Dinosaur Jr.

Matias Anon

Matias Anon has released the first song, "Betty Boozer", from his forthcoming demo EP. The track is a clearly in demo mode, but has a gritty garage feel that is interesting. Anon has a unique vocal delivery that makes me want to hear the full EP.
