Frances Luke Accord

Frances Like Accord has released their new EP, Queen For Me, the follow up to their debut album Kandote. The debut was a collaboration with The Barefoot Truth Children's Choir and is currently the soundtrack for a movie by the same name. The duo of Brian Powers and Nick Gunty create compelling Folk Pop. The Locals @ North Halsted Market Days

The Locals released a new single late last month called "The Willful Suspension of Disbelief". The indie pop trio further refine their sound with each release and this one sounds as radio ready as anything out there.

Hurt Everybody

The recent EP from Hurt Everybody is a perfect example of the current state of hip hop in Chicago. The trio of Carl, Supa, and Mulatto combine fantastic beats with inventive lyrics to entertain over all 17 tracks of the self-titled EP.

Pink Frost @ Bottom Lounge (tonight!)

Pink Frost has shared the first single, "Seek and Recover" from their forthcoming EP Traitors. The EP will be released on Sept. 16th and is the follow-up to the band's 2013 album Sundowning.
